CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand Wash:
- Choose cold or lukewarm water to wash cotton bedding, avoiding hot water to prevent shrinking or fading.
- When washing, avoid excessive rubbing or vigorous scrubbing to prevent damage to the fibers.
Machine Wash:
- Use clean water or water not exceeding 40°C / 104°F for a gentle washing cycle.
- Select a mild washing program to avoid overheating and prevent shrinking or fading.
- Use a gentle detergent without bleaching agents.
- Adding fabric softener during the wash can maintain the cotton fibers' softness and comfort.
- It's best to separate dark and light-colored bedding to prevent color bleeding.
Drying:
- Whenever possible, avoid using a dryer and allow cotton bedding to air dry naturally.
- If a dryer must be used, choose a low or gentle drying setting.
- Avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight to prevent fading and fiber deterioration.
Precautions:
- Cotton materials may shrink by 1-2 centimeters after washing, which is normal.
- Cotton fabric may become slightly stiff after washing due to a reaction with the chemicals in laundry products. To avoid this, use neutral laundry products, add fabric softener during washing, and avoid direct sun exposure after washing. Steaming the fabric with a steam iron before use can help restore its softness.
